WILLWRIGHT ESTATE PLANS
WILLWRIGHT ESTATE PLANS
Willwright is designed to help ordinary people meet their estate planning needs. We don't focus on large estates or offer sophisticated tax advice. Instead, we focus on creating peace of mind by educating clients on basic estate planning options and facilitating an efficient and hassle-free experience from the first time we talk all the way through the signing and finalizing your documents.
Willwright believes in affordable, transparent, and flat-fee pricing. We offer two pricing options: $675 per person or $1,200 per couple for a comprehensive “bundled” plan that meets all your individual needs and includes any of the following documents (will, testamentary trust, health care directive, power of attorney) or an “unbundled” option for $225 per document.
We want to make this process as easy for you as possible, so we offer you the choice to meet at one of our seven locations (Hopkins, Edina, Bloomington, Edina, St. Louis Park, Woodbury, North Loop, and downtown Minneapolis) or we will come to you wherever you are.
1. Contact us in whatever format you prefer (phone, email or text) to start a conversation or ask questions. Our initial consultation is free. If you want us to know a bit about your situation before we talk, take a few moments to complete a questionnaire online by clicking on the link below:
Or submit a request to have a questionnaire sent to you in the post by clicking here:
2. Sometime clients like to meet in person to start our relationship. We like that and welcome the chance to sit down and talk whenever it helps client objectives. Oftentimes, we can also gather the information needed to finalize your plan by phone and email and only need to meet in person once to sign your finished documents. Whatever you prefer, we will agree to a plan and price in writing before fees are incurred.
3. After we've selected an estate plan that fits your needs, you pay a fully-refundable $100 deposit. Willwright drafts your documents and we schedule a meeting to sign them. We will make your document drafts available to review in plenty of time to ask questions and make changes before we sit down to sign.
4. We will meet wherever is most convenient for you to sign your finished documents. Your remaining balance will be due at this meeting and you will receive signed, notarized copies of your documents (along with digital versions) by the conclusion of our appointment, wherever that may be.
